I had the pleasure of staying at the Protea Hotel by Marriott Cape Town sea point and girrl that was an amazing stay !Snuggled a prime location, this hotel not only offers breathtaking views but also an experience that feels as comforting as home.

The hotel’s location is ideal for anyone looking to explore the vibrant culture and stunning scenery of Cape Town. Situated close to major attractions, it allowed me to conveniently immerse myself in the local sights and sounds. But then I got myself red bus tickets to visit the iconic Table Mountain or stroll through the colorful Bo-Kaap neighborhood! And many sightseeing spots

Upon entering my room, I was immediately surprised by the immaculate cleanliness and spaciousness. The design was modern yet inviting, with large windows that let in natural light and offered a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape. It was a perfect sanctuary to unwind after a day of exploring the city.

What made my stay even more enjoyable was the homely feeling that permeated the hotel. From the warm greeting at the front desk to the thoughtful touches throughout the room, it felt as if I was a guest in someone’s home rather than just another visitor. This sense of comfort was enhanced by the friendly and helpful staff, who were always ready to offer recommendations or assist with any needs.

As a  foodie, one of the highlights of my stay was the delicious food offered at the hotel’s restaurant. The menu featured a variety of local and international dishes, each crafted with fresh ingredients and a touch of flair. Beautiful I travel for food if I am being honest food is the engine that keeps me going so I savored every meal, from hearty breakfasts to exquisite dinners, making the dining experience a significant part of my overall enjoyment. The culinary team truly knows what they are doing because they won me over , they know how to cater to diverse palates, and I found myself eagerly anticipating each meal.

I love beautiful spaces and I know protea hotels always have that thing 

The interior decor of the hotel is another aspect that deserves mention. Each area is thoughtfully designed, blending modern aesthetics with touches of local culture. The vibrant colors and artistic displays created an ambiance that was both stylish and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you could easily spend hours lounging in the common areas, soaking in the atmosphere.

In addition to its many amenities, the hotel is located in a safe neighborhood, giving me peace of mind during my stay. I felt comfortable exploring the area around the hotel, whether it was during the day or evening. This security added to the overall enjoyment of my trip, allowing me to focus on making memories rather than worrying about my surroundings.

If you know you know Cape Town is famous for beautiful views so I live for that!

One of the most memorable aspects of my stay was the stunning view from my room. Waking up to a panorama of Cape Town’s landscape, with the mountains in the background and the city sprawling below, was nothing short of magical. It set the perfect tone for each day, inspiring me to venture out and discover all that the city has to offer. No wonder Cape Town was named the most beautiful city in whole world 

My stay at the Protea Hotel by Marriott in Cape Town was an unforgettable experience. With its great location, immaculate and spacious rooms, delicious food, beautiful interior decor, and the warmth of the staff, it felt like a home away from home. For anyone visiting Cape Town, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel as a top choice for comfort and hospitality. Whether you’re a foodie like me or simply looking to enjoy the beauty of Cape Town, this hotel is sure to leave a lasting impression. I actually didn’t want to leave. It’s 10/10 I didn’t find a single fault.
