Family getaway to a theme park

We booked for two nights We checked in on Friday  13 Feb 2026  to celebrate my niece 12th birthday on Valentine’s Day 

and I just want to say the staff were so warm & made it extra special for us. Even though the was a little bit of delay our room was not ready though we were on time for check in!  but the staff at the front desk were absolute angels. They even offered to put our cake in a fridge for us. Not forgetting shuttle personnel very professional and helpful We 100% felt welcome !

Rooms are great spacious and clean . They could even accommodate a family of 5! Upgrades to the facilities was notably refreshing and bathrooms was beautifully revamped and extremely clean! Compared to my previous visits 

Few years back.

We enjoyed bayney’s restaurant buffet breakfast for hotel guests as well as Gold Reef City Theme Park visitors.massive buffet with variety of dishes.And Billy G dinner buffet was the best the variety of food the have from starter , main meal to dessert it was really impressive ! Like i said I travel for food 

It was super fun. Lots of activities rides to accommodate different people of all ages!
